Due to issues relating to so called 'copyright' I have taken the regrettable decision to remove my archive of 'Wheeltappers' uploads.

Not wanting to to go against RUclips policy but absolute 💩
Funny
A big massive phuk U to RUclips for putting a 40 second set of ads right in the middle of the 1st 15 seconds of Bill Hayleys Shake Rattle and Roll...what a fucking liberty. Thats the main problem with RUclips lately...3 minutes of banal ads in a 15 minute video. Time it right lads ffs
A good cabaret act ,nothing more. SORRY.
Bernards got a great voicè.
Hoop and stick...... Brilliant! 😅
Essential weekend viewing as a kid growing up in Lancashire in the mid '70's'. Great entertainment & harmless fun, with no hint of any 'political correctness'' on display ~ Also with hindsight, I now feel that these 'Wheel tapper's' broadcast's must certainly have influenced a young Peter Kaye, to eventually create his Phoenix Nights series.
Wow I've never seen the Krankies look so young. But being only 8 when this aired I'd have been in bed no doubt so that'll be why. They must've not been on TV in an earlier spot til just a few yrs later bc I do remember seeing the 3 Degrees looking like that just not the fan-dabby-dosie Krankies.
These types of times will have to come back at some point. because technology will burn itself out and eventually we have to go back in time. these days its all lazyness with all computers and god knows what. the internet will crash one day then what will all you lot do who can.t add up and write with pen and paper.
Wow Bernard could belt it out. 👍
Crazy how good this is. 40 minutes just flew by! Bernard Manning was the biggest surprise, what a great singer he was! Must have been a pre-fame little and large there. Lonnie Donegan must have been a pretty big name back then too Incredible how all most of these amazingly talented people are basically completely unkown just 50 years later. I could imagine people watching this in 100 or 200 years time and still being just as impressed. Thanks for posting!
Wow that ventriloquist GREAT!
At 15:27 there is a serious pisshead at the bar.
Looks like he used the same hairstylist as Donald tRump.
21:00 can you imagine today's 'producer's' allowing an act like this to throw knives at the shows presenter 🤔🤣🤣 Would love to see Rant and Dic doing the same act with the knife thrower blindfolded 😂😂
Lonnie, Stephan, major worldwide stars by this time, plus Little and Large before coming household names in Britain, the entertainment was always red hot on the WTSC. Never ceases to amaze me how many people comment on Bernard Manning being able to sing. Yet to anybody who remembers him it was well known. This proves that 99% of you were totally brainwashed by the shit the hate groups like the newspapers put out about him being nothing but a racist comic, or you didn't know of him at all. Sheeple is what you are, do try thinking for yourself, I know its a novel idea but do try, you'll thank me for it in the long run.
Great times, I'd go back in a heartbeat.
He had a pub the Birch and Bottle in the early 80s in Whitley. I have a vinyl album recorded in the very pub from 1982 called Bottled at the Birch.
😂😂😂Bernard's Ronnie Hilton joke was an absolute peach.
Lawks a mercy! That was very poor. Very poor indeed.
I caught an episode of this on TV last night, the one with Frank Ifield and Kathy Kirby. When the series was originally broadcast in ‘74, I thought it was a bit downmarket. As I watched it last night, it seemed like the highest quality item on any channel.
Norman was brilliant and original
Barbera Law was very good
Stephane Grapelli brilliant saw him live at the Hexagon in Reading. Lonnie carried by his band here
Bill Hayley brilliant
His mum lived 3 doors up from us in cadwgan Road old colwyn ❤
Don't throw your love away...A real toe tapper..Sounds like a Racey song.
Pure comedy to laugh at.
The comb over meets the mullet. What a look!
Ronnie Hilton...i forgot about him, now I remember him.
What an utter load of garbage.
Has he got 'is syrup on backwards?
Loving it .
£3 was a lot of money then. For £1 I could get into the Stretford End, buy a programme, a meat n potato pie and soft drink and still come out with a couple of 'bob' change. A few years later when, in '76, I got into the Stretford End for 80p when United played Ajax. In the next round, the price of the ticket went up by a staggering 12.5% to 90p when they played Juve. My LMTB (League Match Ticket Book) cost me £21 and there being 21 home games, it equaled £1 a game. The last time I went, my Season Ticket worked out to be £37 per game.
Nicola Sturgeon 😅😅😅
When Britain was Britain
Martin and Sylvia were brilliant.
Proper Turns,Lol. Talent , Yes ? Just A thought.
Did anyone spot an uncredited Liz Dawn of Coronation Street fame as the barmaid carrying drinks around?
Good news! This variety show is being repeated on Talking Pictures TV on Sunday nights 10.pm.
Bernard’s voice is fantastic!
Sorry, this is a world class song. Would have pissed over all the competition in Luxembourg
Who's the chick in the yellow dress ? good singer.
barbara law, irish-canadian singer/actress
The Steffan Grapelly ( Turn 😂) the blackbeard chap on left was Dizz Disley, I got to play with him live in a Birmingham Club around the same time, An absolutely amazing English guitar player, yet hardly mentioned now.?
Yer wan who sang song number seven was only twenty two. 😯! WTFffffffffffffffffffffffffffff... If she had a daughter of twenty two and was Joan Collins' secret sister then fair enough. Maybe putting flouride in the water has kept us youthful. That and no perms. Otherwise why do so many young people look so much older back in the day?🦋
It was not perfect back then, but it was infinitely better than now. I want a time machine.
This was totally robbed.
Blimey Julie this takes me back, love seeing these shows from a simpler time, before reality TV and political correctness set in, I see TPTV are starting to show the series in December. Thanks for posting.
Criminal....a million times better than any uk entrant since too.
Back in the late 60s Colin wrote the foreword for our (Lancaster University) rag mag. Great gag in it which sill gets a laugh when I use it in 2024.
